Personal Data

The personal data we process depends on how you interact with Edufit.

Use of the website with an account (app.edufit.dk) – typically teachers:
We do not store personally identifiable information such as your name, email, device details, or your exact geographic location. The only information that can identify you is an anonymous username, which is randomly generated when you create an account and which you can change at any time. We store and process the data you input into Edufit, such as text, highscores, and questions, in order to deliver our service and allow you to manage your account and the features you use. These data are not considered sensitive personal data. If you wish (but it is not required), you can provide the name of the school and the class. We do not store the actual details of the school and class, but we use encrypted data to protect your privacy while enabling you to display anonymized class data on the website.

Use of the website as a guest (play.edufit.dk) – typically students:
We do not store any sensitive data about guest users. You simply enter any name to be used in the game, and all data is automatically deleted when the game ends.

Use of camera in Edufit:
Edufit uses the camera to detect movements and interactions to create an entertaining and engaging experience. It is important to emphasize that no images or videos are recorded or stored, and all data processing occurs only locally on your device, with nothing being stored on the servers.

Bookkeeping:
We are required to store all accounting documents in accordance with the bookkeeping law. This means we store invoices and similar documents for accounting purposes. We keep this information for at least 5 years after the end of the current financial year.

Job Applications:
We accept job applications to assess whether they match a hiring need in our company. If you have sent an unsolicited application, we immediately evaluate its relevance and delete the information if there is no match. If we want to retain the application for future positions, we ask for your consent. If you have applied for an advertised position, we will dispose of the application if you are not hired, immediately after the right candidate has been found. If you are part of a recruitment process and/or hired, we will provide separate information on how we handle your personal data in this regard. The processing of your personal data in job applications is done in accordance with Article 6(1) of the Data Protection Regulation.

Data Processors:
We use subcontractors to assist with various tasks. Our only data processor is Hetzner, which stores data on secure servers in Germany. It is our responsibility to ensure that your personal data is processed correctly. Therefore, we set high standards for our subcontractors and ensure that your personal data is protected.

We do not disclose your personal data to third parties.

Profiling and Automated Decisions:
